When you register, you will have the opportunity to enter your preferred flight details. We will do everything possible to accommodate your requests. Once you have submitted your registration and any extensions or deviations have been confirmed, the air team will book flights for you and your guest. You will be contacted via email within three business days with a flight itinerary for your review and approval. Please double-check the spelling of your name and your guest's name on your air itineraries to ensure they match your passports.

An email response is required within 24 hours of receipt, acknowledging that you have received the airline schedule. Upon your approval, the airline ticket will be issued.

PTC is pleased to provide you and your guest with economy round-trip airfare to Monte Carlo via the Nice Côte d'Azur Airport. Upgrades are available at your own expense. 

If you are a PTC Host, you will be responsible for booking your own flights through the standard travel process at PTC. If you plan to extend your stay at Fairmont Monte Carlo, please wait for confirmation from the PTC Events Team prior to booking your flights. As soon as your dates are confirmed and your flights are booked, please send your confirmed itinerary to Cathy Hubler so your ground transportation can be arranged. 

A valid passport is required to board your flight to Monte Carlo, Monaco. Please note that the name on your passport must match the name on your airline ticket. It is recommended that your passport be valid for six months beyond your return travel date. Please check your passport's expiration date. Depending on your country of origin, the required validity may differ.

For more information on passports (applications, renewals, or adding pages), U.S. citizens may contact their local post office, visit the U.S. Department of State website, or visit the following sites to learn more about applying for a new passport or renewing a passport. If you are not a U.S. citizen, please refer to your country's passport application and renewal requirements. 

The process may take up to twelve weeks, so please do this as soon as possible.

Nationals of certain countries may also require an entry visa. Please visit the U.S. Department of State website to determine the requirements of your specific country. Even if Monaco does not require a visa for entry, please check to be sure you do not need a transit visa for any connecting flights through countries you might enter en route to Monaco. You will need to visit the government websites of those specific countries for information on how to apply for a transit visa. We also recommend checking the sherpa° website. 

This process may take several weeks, so please check immediately upon registering. 

Upon arrival at Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE), you will proceed through Immigration. After claiming your luggage and clearing Customs, proceed to the airport exit.  Our local transportation staff, wearing red shirts and beige pants and holding PTC signage, will be there to greet you, offer assistance with luggage, and direct you to your transportation to the resort. Relax on your 30-minute transfer to Fairmont Monte Carlo.  

Upon your arrival at the hotel, you will be greeted by staff and escorted to the PTC check-in area. Stop by the PTC Hospitality Desk, which will be available throughout the program to assist you in any way possible.  

Note: If your luggage is lost, stay in the airport terminal near the baggage claim carousels. Do NOT pass through customs. Fill out a lost luggage report with your airline. You must receive a printout with a phone number and report/claim number. Once at the hotel, the PTC Events Team will assist you in calling to check on the status of your luggage. 

We will provide round-trip ground transportation to and from the Nice Côte d'Azur Airport (NCE), during the scheduled program dates. Upon arriving in Nice, France, you will be met in the baggage claim area by the transportation staff holding a sign with the PTC logo. More information will be provided in your pre-trip package. 

When returning home, your arranged transportation will depart from the Fairmont Monte Carlo lobby. More information regarding your pickup time will be included on your Departure Notice that you will receive onsite. 

If you are pre- or post-extending at another hotel, you will be responsible for your own ground transportation.  

The official currency in Monaco is the Euro (€). Credit cards are widely accepted throughout Monte Carlo, including at hotels, restaurants, shops, and attractions. While some businesses may accept U.S. dollars, payment in Euros is recommended. Please click here for the most current exchange rates. 

When making purchases, using a credit card is often the most convenient option, as your credit card provider will typically offer a competitive exchange rate. For smaller purchases or places that prefer cash, it's a good idea to carry a small amount of Euros. 

Most major credit cards are accepted in Monaco. As a best practice, contact your bank before traveling to notify them of your international travel dates for any cards you plan to use abroad. 

The electricity standard in Monaco is 230V/50Hz, and power outlets use Type C and Type E plugs. If you are traveling from the United States, you will need both a plug adapter and a voltage converter unless your electronic device is dual voltage (most modern laptops, smartphones, and chargers are compatible with 100–240V—check your device before traveling). If you are traveling from another country, please ensure you have the appropriate adapter and converter, if needed. 

Monte Carlo observes Central European Time (CET). When it is 12:00pm (Noon) in Monte Carlo, it will be:
